  • Aircraft Maintenance Mechanic


    Technicians report to their supervisor lead and are ultimately responsible to the Chief Inspector / Accountable Manager



    About Our Operation:


    We are an FAA part 145 Repair Station. Our primary operation involves maintaining and repairing our associated Part 135 Charter Aircraft, performing maintenance on outside customer aircraft also. Our shop performs various, Inspections, repairs, alterations and engine inspection / repairs.



    Essential Functions:

    • Perform Phase, Annual and 200 hour inspections. Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain Beechcraft King Air, Beechjet, Pilatus, Cessna Turbine and Turboprop aircraft. 
    • Provide maintenance support to 135 Charter aircraft in an effort to avoid aircraft down time.
    • Complete paperwork for aircraft maintenance to include Work orders, return to service, company Repair Station manuals, FAA forms, Service Bulletins and AD’s.
    • Starting, running, and taxiing many different airframes.
    • Perform sheet metal repair, painting, engine vibration analysis and propeller balancing.
    • Installing Medical and Cargo Configurations. 
    • Engine HOT section inspections.

    Requirements:

    • A&P license and High school diploma or equivalent
    • Must own tools required to perform job functions
    • Highly motivated and a self-starter with excellent communication
    • Work effectively with minimal supervision after initial training completion
    • Complete on going Repair Station training  
    • Pass pre-employment DOT Drug testing and random testing
    • Must meet the physical requirements to perform job functions including the ability to lift 50 pounds
    • Must be able to read and wright English. Be able to comprehend and apply information contained in technical manuals.

    Full Time:

    • Shifts 7am - 3pm and 2nd shift 3pm - 11:00pm Monday to Friday
    • Overtime
    • Paid rotating weekend on call after 90 days of employment
  • Pilot in Command

    Aviation Charter Inc. is looking for additional PIC's to operate our fleet of King Air Aircraft under an EOD 135 Air Carrier Certificate. 


    Aviation Charter has operated from KFCM in Eden Prairie, MN since 1989. We are a family owned company with a cohesive and close knit group of employees (currently 30 pilots). We operate one King Air 90, five King Air 200's and three BeechJet 400A's. We are an Eligible on Demand 135 Air Carrier and a part 145 repair station.


    We're looking for an individual who will work well with our existing crew­members and customers and will bring their knowledge, experience and unique attributes to our team. We will consider candidates with diverse experience as currently employ pilots with backgrounds in flight instruction, cargo, airlines, military and corporate aviation.


    Our pilots rotate on an 8 on / 6 off schedule and are home based in the Twin Cities. We do not operate one way charters so our pilots average less than two nights in hotels per month and are home when on call. Benefits include per­diem, paid time off, holidays off, medical, dental, life insurance, and matching 

    401K. Starting salary is $103,500 annually with opportunities for additional pay. Pay begins the first day of ground school. Transition to BeechJet is offered internally based upon company needs and pilot qualifications. 


    Minimum Requirements: 

    • Excellent personal and customer service skills 
    • First Class Medical and current US Passport 
    • ATP 
    • 2500 hours Total Time 
    • 1000 hours MEL 
    • Turbo Jet/Turbo Prop Experience
